BIKE RIDE FOR THE KIDS

As the Marketing and Communications Chair for Bike Ride for the Kids, I’ve had the opportunity to lead all marketing efforts for a 100-mile ride from downtown Chicago to Notre Dame, an event dedicated to raising funds for FIRST LEGO Leagues and STEM education. From crafting email campaigns to designing signage and coordinating communication with hundreds of riders, I’ve learned how to manage both the excitement and the unexpected. In 2023, I was tasked with delivering the difficult news of a last-minute cancellation due to weather... just hours before the ride. Despite challenges, our team continues to raise over $100,000 each year and remains committed to finding creative, meaningful ways to support STEM education for kids.
